Everllence, the shareholder of Quest One has appointed Michael Meister as the CEO and new spokesperson of the management board. Meister had already taken over the strategic leadership of the hydrogen specialist on an interim basis in February. He will also continue to be responsible for the business areas of production, quality, and procurement.
Jürgen Klöpffer, Chairman of the advisory board of Quest One and Executive Board Member of Everllence, stated: “Michael Meister has led Quest One with strong leadership through a challenging phase in recent months and has set important strategic directions for the company’s future. He will play a key role in advancing Quest One in the current demanding market environment.”
Michael Meister has been a member of the Quest One management board since October 2022. Prior to that, he held a leadership position at BMW for around seven years. He began his professional career at the consulting firm McKinsey.
Alexandre Ménage Joins Management Board
In April, the shareholder also appointed Alexandre Ménage to the management board as CTO. Since then, he has been responsible for the areas of technology and development. Ménage joined Quest One from Everllence (formerly MAN Energy Solutions), where he most recently led the turbocharger segment’s engineering division at the machinery and plant manufacturer. He succeeds Marius Zasche, who has taken on a new role at Everllence.
Klöpffer commented: “With Alexandre Ménage, Quest One has gained an experienced technology leader who brings extensive expertise in efficiently developing new and complex products from concept to series production and stable market launch. We are confident that the company will benefit from his qualifications and look forward to continued successful collaboration. At the same time, we thank Marius Zasche for his dedication and contributions over the past years and wish him great success in his new role at Everllence.”
